Just reading all this AS eating my oatmeal! Grandma Farrell started my "oatmeal training" early and I have never stopped loving it. I try to cook up batch of steel cut oats (big pot). Then take some in a.m. & add my toppings, reheat, & it's fast - & really good. Otherwise I use old fashioned oats (still, not the same "oaty" flavor I remember as kid), add my favorites of wheat germ, ground flax seed, dried cranberries, dates, raisins, or?, then after cooking stir in protein powder if I have, wild berries or whatever fruit sounds and enjoy. Keeps my blood sugar up (I'm hypoglycemic). Going to try your Quinoa pancakes--looks yummy. Sue
