I agree with Margy - boiled cider is a treat on oatmeal!
I start work early, so I preheat a stubby thermos and then put the uncooked oats, 2 tsp oat bran, and sometimes dried apples or raisins in. By the time I get to work Voila: a nice hot and hearty breakfast. I also make fruit sauces from whatever PYO is in the freezer with sugar and Instant Clear Gel. It's delicious on oatmeal and not as sweet as jam.
I love breakfast time!
