Toasted pimento cheese sandwich! Homemade pimento cheese and buttered on the outside (although I'll try mayo next time), with the outside sprinkled with a tiny bit of garlic powder, and then toast it on the grill. We grew up eating these with Mom's homemade beef and vegetable soup. Mom's gone now, bless her, and so is the house brand of pimento cheese she bought at Winn Dixie. But we can still make a close imitation of it. Thanks for a yummilicious post!
