I'd try reducing the amount of flour slightly, and the water slightly - start with tablespoons here - aiming to just make a very slightly smaller loaf. More moisture seemed to do this in my experience. I had that problem now & then with my old Hitachi vertical loaf bread machine from the early 1990s - (still works in 2023, but I bought the Zo to get a horizontal loaf).
