Thanks for the fantastic tips to PJ and all who have been posting. I have a Zoji Virtuoso and love it. Except now that I am practicing add-ins I'm feeling a bit frustrated. I lightly flour the mix-in ingredients but they still mostly drop to the bottom, or are in the center of the loaf. I've used cinnamon for this purpose when making fruit bread. It sounds like a battle going on when the ingredients first start to mix. Sometimes things get tossed out of the pan too.
I've used multiple types of dried berries and small pieces of nuts.
Often, the amount of add-ins don't seem substantial in the final loaf. How much extra is too much:)?
Are there additional tips to help with improving my results?
