I was given a new Hamilton Beach HomeBaker Breadmaker because my old one was warn out. My problem is all of my loaves rise and fall, leaving a one inch deep valley in the top. I think I follow all of the directions in the different recipes. I have changed the water and yeast amounts with no improved results. The dough looks good before the first rise. Is elevation a consideration? We live at 5,000 feet.
