I love your hints and recipes!
Recently I replaced my old Sunbeam bread machine with a Zojirushi Home Bakery Virtuoso Plus. What was so easy for me to make in my old Sunbeam is not working in my new Zo. Yes, there are now 2 paddles and the loaf is horizontal and not vertical--but should that make such a difference in a recipe? I follow the Zo's directions and place the yeast in the middle instead of the side, and all the other directions, but so far what came out beautifully in my old Sun is not coming out well from my Zo. Is it just a learning curve for adjusting? For instance, my Russian Rye (Pumpernickel) recipe is still not coming out anywhere near as well...3 loaves so far.
Should the ingredients list necessarily be different for the Zo? Is it necessary to add the milk powder to the recipe when it wasn't necessary for the Sun?
I'm a bit frustrated, and hope you can help.
Thank You, PJ--and please stay safe!
