We're sorry to hear that your bread didn't turn out as expected! We would recommend letting the machine deflate the dough between the first and second rise, this will help redistribute the yeast and make for a more even and successful rise. Alternatively, you can skip this with the machine and just deflate and shape the loaf when you take the dough out of the machine to remove the paddles. We hope this helps for future baking adventures!
