Hi there, Barbara! Yeast cells start to die around 130°F. When it comes to liquid temperatures our standards are between 98°F to 110°F for lukewarm, 68°F to 75°F for room temperature, and 60°F to 67°F for cool room temperature. We hope this helps and happy baking!
