I used to make perfect loaves of bread in my West Bend machine. I hadn't used it for awhile, then started again recently. Now I can't seem to make a loaf with a soft crust. The bread is soft enough, but the crust is harder than I like. I have tried the medium and light crust settings, but it's still too "crusty." I've also had 2 loaves cave-in, even though I've purchased new flour and new yeast.
