my family always wants to eat the bread b4 its cooled. to help the process along, once the bread is removed, I use the prong of a pocket temperature gauge and poke a hole 1/2 way in from each of the four sides. It lets some of hot air out. I personally don't have a problem with wrinkled tops of my bread and prefer taking the bread out because i have found the bread dries out if I leave it in the breadmaker. So, I still cool on a wrack.
