I bought the book after reading this blog and today ate my first Roggenweizenbrot - rye-wheat bread. It is marked as "difficult" but the steps are clear and it turned out just like the picture in the book. Delicious, too. I'm eager to try all the other recipes, as well. I've had sourdough starters in the past, but love Sam's non-stressed way of thinking about them, and his many suggestions for creating a starter. It really is a lovely book.
