I will put bread in freezer for about 40 minutes after it is Fully cooled and then take it out and slice. A firmer bread makes it easier to cut thinner slices. I also freeze the bread, slicing it completely and putting small strips of freezer paper between the slices and it is easy then to take just one or two slices at a time.
