Need some questions answered:
I made the Oatmeal Sandwich Bread yesterday, trying to recall your 5 hints above. First time I have used and food thermometer to check if it is thoroughly baked.
When I let the bread rise the second time in the loaf pan, it rose perhaps 1 inch above the rim.
I allowed one hours plus for this step, but after putting it in a preheated oven, the bread sank.
It is still delicious but I wished it stayed the height it was before baking.
What did I do wrong?
