Am I the only one who has issues when using a thermometer? It usually causes a hole from where it is inserted on the loaf & runs all the way through the loaf. It is about the same dimension as the tip of the thermometer which is inserted just enough to register the temperature & removed immediately, if necessary the loaf is then put back into the oven. Makes for a very sad little loaf and impossible to use for sandwiches. Help, please. Still tapping.
