I have a Thermapen and it is worth every penny. I use it multiple times a day: is the meat/fish done? is my bread done? are the leftovers heated thru? has my jam reached the gelling point? is the water at the right temp for brewing tea/coffee? has the milk cooled enough to add the yogurt starter? So fast, so accurate, so useful! I had a drawer bin of other thermometers that went straight to the giveaway box when I got my Thermapen.
