PJ-I am just going back to read this series as I was not a subscriber when it first came out. I noticed you updated the recipe to use parchment paper (rightly) instead of the paraffine paper called for in the recipe. My mother, who was born in 1919, always lined her pans with waxed paper. I expect this would also have been available at the time this recipe came out. Thanks for bringing back some fond memories!
