Oh my goodness! I own a copy of " The Fannie Farmer Cookbook" 1965 edition, given to me by my mother when I got married in1971. She owned an edition from the early 1940's! I looked up "Scottish Fancies" and there they were. The only change was the omission of vanilla in the later version. I still use Fannie's Dark Fruitcake recipe, and often refer to the cookbook for some basic directions. Still useful after all these years! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
