Hi Denise! The amount of money a pizza peel costs is not always indicative of its quality of performance. In general, you will find that you get a cleaner release from either a thin wooden pizza peel or a perforated metal pizza peel. The perforations will also ensure that excess dusting flour doesn't end up in the oven. Happy baking!
