I'm guessing if it looks nothing like in the pictures you did something wrong. The first time, in late spring, when I made this recipe, it was perfect and looked exactly like the photos. The second time was in December and there wasn't nearly enough liquid and it didn't turn out. I tried again the next day, added more liquid and it turned out great although the crust didn't get as brown as the first time (but it tasted delicious). If at first you don't succeed...
