We are (or just me probably) pizza fanatics!! Tried a number of recipes calling for special flours and techniques. I especially dislike the yeasty after taste that most recipes deliver. Hence I have been after those that use almost minimal yeast. Enter - your fantastic, might I say fool-proof recipe! High hydration delivers the perfect chew and crisp to fluffy balance on the outer edge of the crust, which I adore! And all with the humble APF too! We have tried all sorts of toppings - always with some sort of extra spicy chillies. This recipe has been a breeze ever since the first try!! No knead - just my kind of 'technical' detail ๐. With a few tricks like outfitting my home oven with a few bricks and placing a pizza stone atop them, I have been able to achieve my beloved puffy outer edge that separates the sauce and topping from my plate! Our fav sauce is plain old EVOO with mashed garlic mixed in. Yum!
