Hi Viviane, based on our Ingredient Weight Chart, 1/8 teaspoon of yeast would weight approximately .39g. It's because of the fact that most people don't own microgram scales that can read such tiny amounts that we recommend using volume measurements for things this small if possible, as they tend to be more accurate.
