Thank you so much to everyone at KAF for everything you do. The sugar cookie recipe my grandmother and mother made while I was growing up was not one I cared for. We only ever made sugar cookies at Christmas and I was never thrilled about it. Then, a few years into my adulthood, my mother came across a sugar cookie recipe from my grandmother's family; sadly it was another bust. However, in my search for a cookie recipe that we could enjoy what should be a family tradition, I stumbled across the Holiday Butter Cookie. KAF, you have rescued a dying family tradition. We are all so excited that my teenage daughters are currently practicing decorating Holiday Butter Cookies for Thanksgiving. It never occurred to me to have sugar cookies any time other than Christmas. Now we're practicing and perfecting everything so that we can repeat this whenever. Question: I've searched and missed the information--how long do you surmise decorated Holiday Butter Cookies stays fresh if stored in an airtight container? Thanks so much!
