Lofthouse cookies are super-soft, super-sweet cakey sugar cookies sold at major grocery store chains and usually frosted with a thick, sweet icing and decorated seasonally. They are a "guilty pleasure" cookie for sure-- definitely not artisanal, but many peoples' favorite nonetheless.
