You can use your favorite liquor for the "soak", striving to place the soak in the center of the cupcake so it doesn't crumble once the paper is peeled off the cupcake treat. 3/4 to 1 Cup of the liquor should be enough, any extra is the bakers nip?! Happy baking - Irene@KAF
