I tried this recipe tonight after wanting to make brittle for years. My past Candy-making escapades have been flops so I was scared. I followed one commenters advice to heat a silpat on a baking sheet in a 400F oven while heating the ingredients in the microwave. Having those extra seconds of heat on the silpat while pouring the hot brittle were really helpful as you do have to work FAST. My brittle came out perfect. Thanks!
