This recipe is almost an exact duplicate of one I cut out of the Bangor Daily News 20-30 years ago. It's very easy and delicious. I like the suggestion to warm the jelly roll pan before trying to spread out the hot brittle, I'm going to try that this year. I too always set mine out in the ice cold garage to harden. My recipe does call for dry roasted peanuts, so that's what I've always used.
