Ive been making this recipe for over 30 years. It was included in a cookbook that came with my first microwave. One year I didn't have the Karo syrup and substituted a buttered flavored syrup I had in the cupboard (Mrs. Butterworth). I had so many compliments that Christmas I never went back to the Karo.
