My first try at brittle ( I am 73 years young ) ! Recipe was so easy and I had mixed nut brittle in no time.
Thanks to all the comments and blog pictures my experience with the recipe was spot on.
The only mistake I made was in using a quarter sheet pan instead of a half sheet pan. However I was very impressed with the brittle because the small pan produced a standard size thickness for all the candy!
I used the warm pan and silpat suggestions and used Golden Syrup to repalce the Karo. My pantry was empty of Karo. Thanks so much for this Holiday experience!
