Wonder if pignoli (pine nuts) could be used instead of peanuts. Think I would try this recipe with peanuts first, though! P.S. Received a candy thermometer and a bottle of boiled cider from my oldest daughter, so I'll be attempting the Apple Cider Caramels at some point!!
