Barbara ...reading your great article and recipe with misty eyes. Couldn't help but have flashbacks to the many times with my Mom in the kitchen.....there was Divinity with chopped pecans at. Christmas ...she tinted the Divinity in pastels( just a slight tint)....or rolling Hot Tamales in a corn shuck.that was a job too. They would all be packed in this huge pressure that was my Grandmothers. The memories go on and on.
