Hi Barbara! If you're interested in shrinking or eliminating that pie gap, this blog article is just the ticket. Boiled cider is apple cider that's been reduced down to about 1/8 of its original volume, giving it a thick, syrupy consistency and a very concentrated, tangy flavor.
