Hello,- I just have a few questions as this will be my first time cooking the apples before baking. The recipe I'm using does not call for boiled cider or cornstarch. So if I were to make this filling without those two ingredients would the process be as follows: 1) melt 2 tablespoons of butter, sauteed apples in butter for a few minutes 2) stir in sugars and spices and cook for a few more minutes, 3) add flour, mix well and cook till apples are at desired softness 4) remove from heat and add lemon juice. After it cools it is ready to be refrigerated until ready to fill pie shell? Thank you in advance for your answer I appreciate
