My apple… by Laurie (not verified) Hi Laurie, You may want to warm and thicken just the juices, using Instant ClearJel or cornstarch, etc. before putting in the pan. That way your pie filling doesn't cook further but the juice can be "gravy" thick before adding to the pie. ~ MJ Reply
