Marci, I add chopped onions and celery as well as veggie broth, then salt and pepper to taste. (I do taste it and adjust the spices as necessary.) Our guests are not very adventuresome about the dressing, so it is rather plain. I cook it in a baking dish and serve it with turkey gravy, so it is vegetarian without the gravy. Nothing fancy.
