This is the third Thanksgiving I have successfully used this recipe for my apple pie, but the first time I discovered this blog. Excellent instructions and suggestions in the comments, and it was my best apple pie ever. I especially liked the hint to use a piece of plastic wrap while spreading the pie crust dough in the pan with a flat bottomed glass - made it very easy and no mess. I used the filling from KA's paper bag apple pie recipe, and sprinkled the streusel on top as suggested above. It got rave reviews.
