While recovering from shoulder surgery and with left arm in a sling, I had a hankering for pie. Knowing I couldn't roll out the pastry I searched for an alternative. I found this recipe and gave it a try. Fabulous, absolutely fabulous! Here it is almost Thanksgiving week and I am usually the one to take pies to our neighborhood "orphans" dinner. This recipe is so good I have no qualms using it for the pecan pies I'm taking this year. Cheers!
