Using butter instead of oil may make the pie crust brown more readily and will change the texture, making it slightly more crumbly. You are welcome to give it a try using 1 stick (a full 8 tablespoons) of melted butter instead of vegetable oil. Give it a try and see what you think! Kye@KAF
