Helen October 3, 2015 at 10:10am In reply to Have rarely baked pie and always with a store bought crust but … by Chris (not verified) I seen this tip on Cooks Country....reserve about 3 tablespoons of the dough, roll with hands into a rope about 12', then cut into 3 pieces and roll those to 8" then place them around the rim of the pie dough and pinch or crimp.
