Hi Debora, this isn't something we've tried, so we can't speak to the effectiveness, but we don't see a good reason not to try it, if you'd like to experiment. One word of caution: this would be a situation where you'd want to be sure the Instant ClearJel is thoroughly incorporated into the sugar before adding to the egg whites to help prevent pilling/lumping. We also think adding Instant ClearJel to meringue may contribute to more defined pipe-ability, if that's something you're after.
