Sorry, but that's just not true. Plastic and glass labware can have the same accuracy - it's just a function of how they are made and calibrated. The most accurate items in common use, like volumetric flasks, are more often glass. A lab beaker is not really made for accurate volume measurement regardless of whether it is plastic or glass, with molded or painted graduations. There are international standards which define the different classes of design and accuracy.
