My scale lets me choose between metric and standard. It also has a tare feature. I'm getting so I use metric all the time, and would be slowed down without a tare button, but I'm a chemist and "think metric". I would feel more comfortable checking my measuring cups using metric. But since I know 1 pound is 454 grams and 1 ml of water is 1 gram I can figure out mine. Why don't you make a table a person can print off and have everything in one place instead of hunting through a blog?
