I'm responding to two things in your safer mailing blog.
The first is NOT a criticism, but another suggestion that you probably don't need, but......
I related to your comment about your mom and' molasses not so much' likely because of the war hunger. Then was taken aback by the newspaper packing declaring 'Is it world war III...........
Newspapers are wonderful for insulation and cushioning and personally, when I receive a package with newspapers, I always read them. What fun to compare prices, events, other local news, it's like a mini trip.
The other comment is about cost. You are so right about the value. Many times I've thought, 'I would give someone $20.00 to take this to ..... and there was the time a few years ago when a friend in Minnesota was hankering for fresh bread, so I baked some and Fed Ex'd a loaf next day air for $63.00. Pricey? Maybe, but cheaper than air fare to go bake her some.
