My daughter lives in southern Texas... still too hot to mail anything chocolate... so for her birthday (today!), I sent her a Birthday Cake Kit.... a square foil pan, then 2 zipper bags, one with all of the dry ingredients for KA's Cake Pan Chocolate Cake, using 2 tsp of baking powder instead of baking soda and vinegar. Then in another bag, the dry ingredients for a rich chocolate glaze. I then added birthday candles, and for fun, those premade candy letters you get in the baking aisle at the store. I included the instructions (she had to add water, oil, and vanilla to the cake mix; butter and vanilla to the glaze). She baked up her own cake, her fiance decorated it with the letters and candles... everyone had fun!
