Priority Mail flat-rate boxes are the best thing ever. The best is when a kid asks for a small something to be mailed, and I get to figure out what else will fit in the box. I have not tried to mail bread yet, though; doesn't it stale quickly once it's thawed, if you freeze it first? Even from Maine to New Hampshire, Priority Mail can take up to three days to arrive.
