GREAT tips! I mail cookies ALL THE TIME! Priority Mail is definitely the way to go! I layer larger cookies in parchment paper and then put that into a plastic bag and wrap in bubble wrap. For biscotti, I wrap them in heavy duty aluminum foil, a plastic bag and then bubble wrap. I even send NY Crumb Cake! I wrap 4 slices in Saran Wrap and then Aluminum Foil, then plastic bag - then bubble wrap. The trick is to make sure you DON'T have extra room in the box! I save the inflated "bags" that come in packages I receive and put a couple on the bottom and top to make sure nothing will move. Everything arrives in tact - even the crumbs on top of the crumb cake!
