I am always mailing cookies thru the mail to my grandchildren in college. I have found the best container to use is a clean empty plastic coffee can, F_______r's works great. I bake the cookies just a little smaller than the opening of the can, and they stack up great. I put a wad of plastic wrap on top of the last cookie. then the cans go into a USPS priority box. They always arrive in good condition. In the corners of the box sometimes I will also add a stick of pepperoni, that needs no refrigeration, too. And some halloween candy,if its that time of year.
