My Mom lives in FL and I, too have shipped a variety of goodies via mail. My cookies survived unscathed in those cheap canisters you can get at Christmas Tree Shop. Get ones big enough to accommodate the cookies when the canister is lined with a thin layer of bubble wrap. Insert a narrow plastic bag then layer the cookies in cupcake papers with small pieces of parchment in between them if they are really fragile. Close the bag up, put the lid on and secure with tape. Pack in the box with a cushion of paper or bubble wrap. Voila! A pretty package for your cookies to journey safely and fun for her to open and discover what yummy treat is inside :)
