I have had good results sending cookies wrapped in pairs, back-to-back, in small squares of plastic wrap. It takes a little extra time but they arrve in nice condition... Being snuggled back-to- back gives the cookies extra stability and strength. I've also sent bar cookies right in the foil pan they were baked in. I just made sure they were wrapped and cushioned well.
