Alison, I think our Baked Doughnuts Three Ways fills both of your requests: substitute blueberries for the suggested chocolate chips in the recipe; or leave the chips/berries out entirely for an old-fashioned cake doughnut, ready to be shaken in cinnamon sugar or showered with confectioners' sugar.
